If I could live again my life,
In the next - I'll try,
- to make more mistakes,
I won't try to be so perfect,
I'll be more relaxed,
I'll be more full - than I am now,
In fact, I'll take fewer things seriously,
I'll be less hygenic,
I'll take more risks,
I'll take more trips,
I'll watch more sunsets,
I'll climb more mountains,
I'll swim more rivers,
I'll go to more places - I've never been,
I'll eat more ice creams and less (lime) beans,
I'll have more real problems - and less imaginary
ones,
I was one of those people who live
prudent and prolific lives -
each minute of his life,
Offcourse that I had moments of joy - but,
if I could go back I'll try to have only good moments,
If you don't know - thats what life is made of,

Analysis/ Review of the poem.
A very sensitive and educative poem written by Jorge Luis Borges. This is a poem of two stanzas written in a prose like format in a narrative way with use of enjambment. The message of the poem needs to be understood from a positive or optimistic stand point, if not, the other reader might misunderstood the intent of the writer. The tone of the poet sounds bias and subjective, though, the language is simple and straightforward.
Taking a close look at the poem, the interpretation of the theme passed a simple message that his readers should learn to use their time which is their life wisely, which highlight the following;
Firstly, Spending time and focus on what makes one happy and joyful. Youths should understand that life is hard and but we should learn to create time to make memories and enjoy our lives with the love one else we will watch time take away the person we love. Dont only focus on solving problem, overcoming obstacle of life, striving to become someone in life, etc. We should be intentional about making the best memories and happy moment. It should be done often and daily not once in a while. Take time and enjoy time, go vocation, spent free time doing what you love, laugh, go for adventure and live your life to the fulles.Making mistakes means not being too hard on yourself to be perfect because no one is perfect.
The second theme centered on Making mistake. According to the poet in the poem, making mistake does not instigate that we should live reckless rather the poet intent is that his reader should learn to live freely and accept the things they can't control and don't allow their mistakes in life defines them. From this analysis, this is relatable to the youths who are think that they have failed. Mistake and failure is best of success and we should embrace it as part of life.
In conclusion, the poem passes a great message to its reader to make the best of time, cos there is no second chance. We can't turn the hand of time, so we should live our best lives.
The poetic devices applied in poem include; Repetition: which is the act or an instance of repeating a word or a phrase in the poem, creating a rhythm in the poem. The words “i'll be” “i'll” “if” was repeated in the poem. The use of enjambment was applied.
