The power of youth is like flame,
Bright and strong with endless aim.
They are the future, the hope within,
And with their drive, they’ll always win.
They have the passion, the force to change,
To make the world that’s not deranged.
With Ideals that is bright and true,
They’ll show the world what they can do.
No obstacle is too big to face,
No challenge they can’t embrace.
They’ll fight for what they know is right,
And blaze a trail that is clear and bright.
Youth empowerment is the key,
To unlock the full capacity.
To shape the world that’s just and fair,
A future that’s beyond compare.
So let’s support the youth today,
And help them on their chosen way.
For with their energy and drive,
They’ll build a world where we can thrive.
Analysis and review of the poem.
This is a poem twenty lines with five stanza (quarter each) written by Kutlwano Christian -Tripp Moloi. The theme of focused on “Youth Empowerment”. The poet tone is mild and active, advocating the support the youth who are the future of the world. The poem is written in a narrative form a rhyme scheme of “aa, bb, cc, dd, ee, ff, gg, hh, ii, jj. The language is simple and easy to understand.
Looking at first stanza of the poem, it denote the power of youth which is their essence. It pointed out strength and their resilience towards their goals (see line 1 & 2 “The power of youth is like flame, Bright and strong with endless aim” ) The poet unveils the potentials which will transform the world. With passion and determination that will make world a better place. Stanza four lay more emphasis on this point when the poet stated in line thirteen “youth empowerment is the key”, that will unlock the potentials and greatness in them that will shape the future of the world.
In stanza two and three of the poem, we must admit the poet put the youths on spotlight, with praise and admiration of their strength, passion and courage. The poet pointed out how they fight for want they believe is right (see line eleven). Also, how they can face and overcome every challenge they face with courage and strength. Stanza two made it clear how their passion can make the world bright.
Another striking point made by the poet is the need to support the youth is every possible way to propel them into success. In other words, families, society and the world at large should actively encourage and equip the youth of our generation. The last stanza of the poem solicit for massive undeniable support for the youth to fulfill their dreams and goals. In order the world we deserve or dream of, we need to build on the youth.
