My name is black
I was birthed in every scars
It’s the seal of my love and lost club
Decked in blood, sweat and wars
I yielded my virtuous lingo in the past
When I cling behind a white mask
I was stripped naked of my teal art
And was cursed twice for my innocence
Yet I survived the grave of negation
As I spread my glory at your doorstep.
My name is black
In me lies the depth of perspicuity
Filling societal balloons full of doubt
Soaking up black memories that runs out
In wicked wilderness of mankind
I’m obsessively obsessed with the truth
Cos, I was raised within the orbit of vim
Where I cast my shadows with my pigment
Still here I am; humming my lost songs
And hoping for serenity in my sloth future.
My name is black
I am the luminosity of life in lives
But you are too blind to see my glare
You are too closed to welcome my verdict
Even when I’m the only whispers you hear
Even when I am the only ecstasy you see
Oh! I’ve been the fairest of all times
Bridled in the nature like brightest star
As I graced my beauty that haunts me
Now, my name is written with colors of life.
Call me when its dark
For blacks don't crack
Call me when the sky is high
For my oil jar can't run dry
Call me when the world is awake
For I am the future they wrecked
