Choose to bloom in every season, despite the unending effort of the thunderstorms to cover up your sunlight.
Choose to love your path, and be-throned it with honor, a mist the turbulent seas of life.
Choose to uphold your truth, for in it lies your power you need to unshaken your troops for change.
Choose to draw stars around your scars, that might be the only way to your fulfill your wishes.
Choose to be happy, cos you are the beauty of life the world beholds.
Analysis/ Review of the poem.
This is a simple poem written by Okoro Amarachi Anastasia. A poem of empowers and ignite a sense of responsibility, with the feeling of care and love. This is poem of five stanza with each stanza speaking to the youth on matters that affect them. The poet tone/ language is soft and calm, though, there used of strong/ rigorous words in expressing her thoughts.
Looking at the first stanza of the poem, the poet made a strong connection with her audience (youths), inspiring and motivating them to shinning like stars and keep leaving their lives to the fullest regardless the circumstances of life that try to bring them down. The second stanza sent a synonymous message to the readers (youth), encouraging them to live their dreams regardless the troubles of life that try to hinder it. Don't quite and don't give up on their future because of the present predicament.
In stanza three, the poet encourage her reader to be a patriot citizens, to uphold their fundamental rights and freedoms of speak as a way of bringing great change to the world. Stanza four simple show the youths, the beauty of learning from our mistakes and building yourself up with it for that it the best way to growth and accomplishments of ones goals.
In conclusion, the poet draw the line with a remarkable words of adoration and admiration which youths should cognite of about themselves. Seeing themselves from the optimistic standpoint of life because they the future of the world we live in.
