An educative poem written by Mayowa Oloniyo that inspire youth to be innovative, inventive, creative and united. I appreciate Mayaowa thought to drown light on the collective power of the youth which can surpass all obstacles and build a future for the forthcoming generation. This is a poem of six stanza with no rhymes scheme, written in a blank verse. The speaker tone is instructive and encouraging. The language is simple and concise.
They speaker describe the youth as a powerful force that can birth change when combined their hands together. A revolutionary change that can rise political and social issues and overcoming any obstacles. The intent of the poet is the open the eyes of the youth to see their potential and their powerful ability that can bring change to the world. United they stand and win all odds. Personally, I recommend this poem to all youth to read and embrace the theme of the poem.
