Analysis and Review of the poem
This is a impactful poem written by Okoro Amarachi Anastasia. A poem of twelve line with three stanzas. The theme of the poem centered on the fact that it is not easy to make money or to become wealthy. He poem revealed that there is no easy/lazy way to get rich quick, instead we should genuinely work hard and smart to get it. This poem passed a crucially information to the readers especially young people about quest to make money.
The tone of the poet is rigid and straight forward pointing out the truth for all to make the right way and the right means. The diction/language is simple and narrative, it’s very easy to understand. It has no rhyme scheme. Let’s face the harsh reality of life that society offer us no coat during the rainy days of our life. This truth make us to be self independent and give us instincts of survival to make it through. It might cost us sleepless nights and stressful day, yet is achievable and it’s fullness is for those who are determined.
In conclusion, the poem encourages us to be strong will and determined to make achieve our goals/desire. It is important to note that we fail before we succeed and let us not see failure as the end of it but as what we should learn from to succeed. Everyone want to be wealthy or rich in life to afford basic needs and live their best life, however, we should be ready to make it possible in the right way, not through short cuts.
