In your solace, I find a home,
A place where I'm never left alone.
Your love surges from life blazing's glee,
A place where I'm wild and free.
I can't promise to go through every test,
But I promise not to detest.
In every moment will I give my best,
So in this solace, you'll find a rest.
I can't promise to never let go,
But like arrow and bow, we'll aim and fire.
We will throw the blow, to strengthen the flow,
For this passion will never tire.

This is a short poem of fourteen lines (I will like to call it a sonnet but it is not because of the rhyme scheme) composed by Abdullahi Olamide Balogun on hope which will inspire and uplift the spirits of the young souls. The poem has rhyme scheme and rythme. This is a inspires every young people that chases their dream not to give up but to pursue their passion with love and strength. The poet tone makes the reader feel alive and agail, resonating the urge thr drive their passion to the core. The language is narrative and simple. The rhyme or poem follow the sequence “aa, bb, cc, dd, ef, ef, gg”. The theme of poem centered on hope, determination and strength.
Looking at the first stanza of the poem depict that his passion or what he see as his passion as a home and where he feels wild and free. This stanza show the value and the importance of ones passion in our lives especially to young people. However, the theme of poem was captured in stanza two of the poem where he poet stated his resilience to see his fufil his passion in line 6 and 7 (I can't promise to go through every test But I promise not to detest). The same stream of thought also flow in the third stanza saying (I can't promise to never let go, But like arrow and bow, we'll aim and fire… For this passion will never tire), bringing to light that young people should not give up on what they are passionate about. We all have a dream we aim to accomplish, however, we should learn to work for it, and not we give it up. That's hope and faith in ourselves. Every dream is like a spark of light in our lives that gives meaning to our very existence or being.
The poet finally concluded the poem with a statement that “his passion will never waver nor fade”. The same should be applicable to every young stars there who has passion for something. This is where creativity and innovation starts by pursuing our dreams and goals, even when people do not believe in it. We gain victory and success when we are energize and fuel by what we love doing and that's our passion. This poem speak to every strong young warrior to chase their dream to the end.
